Leaving an 18" piece of yarn, cast on 7 stitches Row 1 knit Rows 2, 4, 6, 8 Purl Row 3 *k1m yo repeating from * end k1 (13 stitches) Row 5 Repeat row 3 (25 stitches) Row 7 Knit Row 9 Bind off loosely with larger needle Leaves Make 14 with green, leaving an 18" yarn tail, cast on 3 sts. Work 4 rows in stockinette stitch. Row 5 (RS) k1, yo, k1, yo, k1 Rows 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 Purl Row 7 k2, yo, k1, yo, k2 Row 9 k3, you, k1, yo, k3 Row 11 k4, you, k1, yo, k4 Row 13 knit Row 15 bind off. To finish: Start at one side of flower piece, coil flower and tack together with a few stitches, sewing close to the base. Stich leaves to the base of the flower. Attach to your project. Weave in yarn tails.
