    WEATHER IMPACTS WEEK ONE OF BOYS SOCCER CEDAR RAPIDS, IA, APRIL 2, 2013: The Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association (IHSSCA) has released its rankings for the first week of the season in boys soccer for class 1A, 2A, and 3A. The weather was the biggest factor as more games were postponed than played due to late winter snow and low temperatures. There were few changes in the polls with the exception of a small shakeup in the 3A poll as #7 Ankeny took an early season loss to unranked Urbandale last Friday night. With the weather causing a postponement of the Trojan Classic in Iowa City on Saturday, the main activity was in Cedar Rapids at the Prairie Invitational. #15 Cedar Rapids Prairie surprised many as they easily handled Urbandale (6-0) and then gave #2 Johnston its first loss of the season (2-1/4-2 PKs), sending them up eight spots in this weeks poll. The rankings, which are inclusive of games played through March 30th, are as follows: Class 3A Ranking 1. Iowa City, West 2. Valley, West Des Moines 3. Iowa City, City High 4. Bettendorf 5. Ames 6.
