Duration of the admission 2 3 years full time (Six semesters) programme TThe candidate seeking admission in to M.C.A programme should have passed a Bachelor's Degree examination not less than three years duration 4 | Eletbilty criteria for | in any discipline with mathematics at 10+2 level or should have passed Bachelor's Degree Examination not less than three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects or any other qualification prescribed by University 4 | Level of the Programme Postgraduate 5 | Mode of Admission The admission will be through Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) ‘examination conducted by the A.P State Government. 6 | Programme Requirement The programme shall include the following semester wise (except 6" Semester): © Five Theory courses © Three Practical courses, © Four midterm tests for each theory course © One Midterm test for each practical course ‘© Minimum 75% of attendance is required. * 6" Semester is exclusively for Project work 8 | Scheme of Evaluation The Scheme of Evaluation of the programme is based on performance of a student in each course and evaluated through Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) system, 9 | Credit System in this system credits will be allotted to each course. Each theory course will be given credits on the basis of number of teaching hours shown against each course in the following table. One hour of teaching of theory course in a week will be given one credit. Each practical will be given credits on the basis of number of practical hours shown against each practical in the following table. One hour of practical course in a week will be given 0.5 credit. 10 | Gradation System ‘The programme will be evaluated and the students will be graded on ten point scale with seven letter grades i.e. O, A, B, C, D, E, F.
