Thefarmerswereinitiallyhappytocontribute,butitwasntlongbeforethefarmersrealizedtheKingwas demandingfarmorethantheycouldhandle.Manyfarmersstartedtohidegrainssotheycanfeedtheirown family.TheKingsawthisasgreattreasonanddispatchedhenchmentosnuffoutthetraitors,atragiceraof paranoiaanddarknessfollowed. Hungerisanattempttocaptureamomentinthatera.

Setup
TaketheKingoutoftherolecards.Randomlyremovecardsfromtheroledeckuntilthenumberofrole cards+theKingequalstothenumberofplayers.Theremovedcardsarenotrevealed,thisisdonesothat nooneknowshowmanyhenchmenareinplay. ShuffletheKingbackintotherolecards.Eachplayerreceivesarolecard. TheKingrevealshimorherself,allotherplayerskeepstheiridentityhiddenuntilendofthegame. Shufflethegrainandaccusationdecks,eachplayerdraws7graincardsand3accusationcards.

Gameplay
1.Playerswilldrawanaccusationcardifheorshehaslessthan3accusationcards. 2.Playerselectsagraincardtokeep,placeitfacedown. Keepthepickedgraincardsintheorderpicked,donotshufflethemoutoforder HenchmenandKingcanonlypicksurpluscardsiftherearenoregulargraincardsleft 3.Discussion,thenallplayersotherthantheKingmayselectanaccusationcardandplaceitfacedown 4.Accusationcardsarerevealed,sortouttheaccusedplayers(SeeAccusationsectionbelow) 5.Kingusehisaccusationcardstoinvestigateaccusedplayers.(SeeInvestigationsectionbelow) 6.Playerspasstheremaininggraincardstothenextplayer.Steps1through6arerepeated5times.

Aftertheaccusedplayersareidentified,theKingwillhavethechancetoinvestigatetheaccusedplayers graincardstoseeiftheyarehidinganysurplusgraincards.TheKingdoesthisbyfirstplayingan accusationcardfromhishand.Everyaccusationcardhasanumberontheupperleftcornerofthecard,this determineshowmanygraincardstheKingcanflipovertocheck. TheKingthenchooseanaccusedplayersgraincardandflipitover.Iftheflippedcardisasurplusgrain card,thatfarmeriseliminatedfromthegame.Allsurpluscardsinthatplayershandorpossessionare assignedtotheKingscollection.
