Presentation 10 minutes

Teacher ask 3 students to come in front and ask WH-questions - Ask about their names and whey they are from.
To build pupils selfconfident To introduce WHquestions To ensure pupils ask and answer question in the right intonations and pronounce the words accurately
Practise 20 minutes
Teacher introduce to the students how to practice talking about themselves by showing the questions and answer on word cards. Teacher includes the teaching of capital letters, the question mark (?) and full stop (.). Teacher can relate the full stop and question marks to the rising and falling intonation pattern. Students play a Circle of Friend Activity - The pupils in circle 1 ask the pupils in circle 2. - Questions about where they live, their hobbies and their birthdays. - The pupils in circle 2 respond. - After answering the questions pupils in circle 2 move one step to the right. - Repeat this until all pupils have practiced asking and answering the questions.
Pupils practise their language with the WHquestions Teaching aids: Word cards
Production 20 minutes
Teacher paste uncompleted dialogues and words on the white board. Let the students complete the dialogues by the paste the answer from the words given. Ask two pupils to practice the dialogue given with their friends by act it out in front of the class.

Closure 5 minutes
Q & A session
Teacher recaps the lesson. Teacher show the previous word cards and ask the students to read them in correct intonation. Teacher stress on moral values: Loves each other and loves friends.
