God Bless You!

May you continue to grow in Christ as He calls us to display the fruits of the Holy Spirit in order to advance His Kingdom for such a time as this. Our next day of repentance will be Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Once again we will set aside some time that day in our homes, churches, and communities to follow the turning to God strategy set forth in 2 Chronicles 7:13-14. That key strategy says: When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. God allows disasters to speak to us to return to Him. More than a few of us believe there is a dark cloud of Divine judgment headed directly toward America unless we repent. One believer recently received brace for impact. By His signs and prophetic words God has been speaking to us to repent, to return to the rock of Christ. Many believers in Christ sense that we are in a moral slide in many nations and face major economic, cultural and governmental problems that are beyond politics: we have a spiritual problem that must be addressed through repentance by those in the body of Christ, especially those called to lead. 1 Peter 4:17. When and if--- we do our part, the battle then becomes the Lords. 2 Chronicles 20: 15. Thank you Lord !! Earlier this year on February 10 we focused on Australia and joined in their national day of prayer for Gods destiny in that nation. This April 30 the day of repentance focuses on the United States. Its the 224th anniversary of the Inauguration of President George Washington. On this day, Washington, a devout believer in Christ, added "so help me God" to his oath to uphold the Constitution. In his short inaugural address he repeatedly thanked God for the miracles that founded this nation. Afterwards President Washington and members of Congress walked to St. Paul's Chapel. The Congressional chaplains led a prayer service honoring God for His abundant blessings on the new United States of America. They saw Christ, not men, as the giver of the Liberty upon which the new nation was founded.

Having sought the Living God with humble hearts, and having publicly acknowledged Gods Hand in the miracles that created the nation, the Lord responded and clearly blessed this nation for generations. The Divine fabric over the nation now is certainly ripped if not entirely dislodged. April 30, 2013 will also be the 150th anniversary of President Lincoln's national day of "humiliation, prayer and fasting" held during the devastating times of our Civil War. The powerful text (on our website under Resources) speaks today for our need to repent so that Gods blessings can return to the nation. Now we are engaged in a spiritual civil war. The State of Pennsylvania will be simultaneously honoring this 150th anniversary with us. Their legislature has declared April 30 a statewide day of prayer AND fasting. Two days later, on May 2, many will participate again in the annual National Day of Prayer. Thus its a critical time for each of us to do our part. Many will begin a 21 day Daniel fast prior to the April 30 day of repentance. Its never about numbers; the Lord is looking for us to follow those men and women of God who repented for themselves and for their nation such as Daniel, Nehemiah and Esther. We're hoping that you or your ministry will hold some type of a service in your church or home or community during all or a portion of this key day of repentance. Model prayers are on the website. We encourage you to connect with other believers across denominations in order to include as many believers as possible in your community. Like pure worship, sincere repentance crosses denominational barriers and builds unity in the body of Christ. One friend said repentance is one of those gems hidden in plain sight, waiting for each beloved child of God to discover it, in every generation until the Lord returns. April 30 can be a great opportunity for you to become a resource in your community or network for the healing power of repentance. Many believers misunderstand repentance. They think God is punishing them, angry and distant--- they dont welcome repentance. To the contrary, Christ first urges each of us to repent to enter the Kingdom; thereafter in His perfect love He urges each of us to be zealous to repent, to let Him into our lives, to be overcomers to sit with Him on His throne!

(Revelation 3:19-21). A new intimacy with God follows repentance. Most wonderfully, His Joy follows repentance! A simple 45 Minutes from Repentance to Joy process is attached that you may wish to participate in. Its simple and very effective! One experienced Bible teacher interprets "our wicked ways" to refer to not just the pure evil wickedness we each can fall into, but also our "inadequacies" just by being human. Were human; weve all fallen short of the glory of God. If just one persons prayers can move the heart of God, as in the case of a Nehemiah, or a Deborah, or an Esther, what could thousands of prayers achieve at one time? Prayer knows no distance. What will it look like in the spiritual realms? We envision that on this upcoming National Day of Repentance, on April 30, 2013, (providentially the same date as Washingtons 224th inauguration and the 150th anniversary of Lincolns day of humiliation) the windows of Heaven will be open! For those blessed to see Gods message through numbers , the number of the anniversary year, 224, means union, witnessing, light, prophet call. This is the perfect time to beg the Lord for His Mercy and to re-establish our covenant with Him as the God in whom we trust in this nation. Please pass the project on to others in your network of believers as you are led by the Holy Spirit-----------each of us is a "trumpet" to tell others--- I believe the Holy Spirit is calling us to act as did those in Gideons small army as "The sword of the Lord!
