Carlos Tevez began his community service sentence in style - by arriving for his cleaning duties in a 100,000 Porsche.

The Manchester City forward was ordered to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work after he admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance. But the 29-year-old, who donned a hi-vis jacket, failed to keep a low profile after rowing with a fan who took a photo of the Argentine. Tevez was chauffeur-driven to the site in Cheshire on Friday morning and he was soon informed that he would be cleaning a 30ft storage container owned by the Probation Service, according to The Sun. It holds equipment including brushes, wheelbarrows, lawnmowers and spades and the City player, who also brought an interpreter, spent two hours carrying out his duties. 'Tevez was wearing a hi-vis orange jacket with Community Payback on the back, plus a hat, black Community Payback issue boots, and grey joggers,' a source told The Sun. 'He took a fair bit out of the container it looked like he had to take it out to tidy it up.' But his short stay turned sour when a fan tried to take a photo of Tevez, who took offence. He must have thought it was a great photo opportunity, but Tevez saw him and stormed up to him saying, "Give me phone. Delete photo, delete photo,"' the source said. 'He must have said no because Tevez tried to reach for the phone to snatch it. 'But then the probation officer stepped in to defuse the situation. He was asked to delete it so he did. He didnt want to get anyone in trouble.' Tevez, who is in the squad to face Manchester United at Old Trafford tonight, soon put the row behind him however as he took to the golf course on Saturday. The 200,000-a-week Argentina forward was caught by police on March 7 after an anonymous tip-off leaving a Cheshire golf club behind the wheel of a Porsche Cayenne while already banned
