The Experience of Effortless Meditation

This course is suitable for beginners as well as those who have extensive experience of meditation. The technique of Effortless Meditation is simple, easy to learn and highly effective. Effortless Meditation requires neither focus, concentration nor emptying the mind it is simply about getting you out of the way and allowing the technique to do the work. Effortless Meditation allows mental and physical activity settle down and a profound state of stillness to be

achieved. As the body and mind become still, deep-rooted tension is released, quite naturally, allowing the mind to feel refreshed and renewed. Personal tuition allows everyone to have this experience.

The Benefits The benefits of Effortless Meditation occur on many levels: physically, the body becomes healthier as stress levels are lowered and the immune system is strengthened; mentally, we have more energy and a greater ability to focus; emotionally, we feel an increasing sense of inner security and self-worth; and spiritually, a growing sense of calm and connectedness.

Effortless Meditation helps us feel rejuvenated and re-energised.

Course Content The 5 evening sessions include: explanation of the mind and how meditation works, the experience of effortless meditation, ways that stress is released and the far-reaching benefits of the practice. The course is relaxed, informal and interactive. Refreshments are provided.

Dates: 11 June, 18 June, 25 June, 2 July and 9 July Time: 7 9pm (arrive at 6.30pm for refreshments)

Location The Bivouac is an inspirational place to learn to meditate as soon as you come in, there is a feeling of welcome, spaciousness and tranquility. There are cushions and blankets and the under-floor heating and wood burner ensures that everyone is comfortable and warm and people can meditate either lying down or sitting up. About me I learned to meditate with Iuna Meditation almost 4 years ago and since have made meditation a regular part of my life. Meditation allows me to live more courageously; helping me access my intuition and free myself from fear. I am a coach and facilitator whose purpose and passion is to connect people with others and with themselves.
