artwork for surface decoration

In order to sandblast a design onto glass we use a variety of stencils ranging from computer or hand cut vinyl to screen printed and photographic stencils, depending on the detail required. This in turn will dictate the format of the artwork required. We can design or generate artwork to client's specifications; alternatively the client or designer can supply artwork. ideal file format

A vector graphic is the most suitable type of artwork, such as an Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand file, at 1:1 scale if possible. Sign lab files are also acceptable, provided that they are version 7 or earlier. When sending artwork please ensure that all fonts are converted to vector outlines, and that any compound paths or clipping masks have been applied and expanded where necessary. In the event that you cannot supply us with a vector graphic, bitmap files are acceptable, however you must allow a reasonable period of time for the artwork to be translated into vector format. proofs

We recommend that you supply a printed proof of your artwork in order for us to see how your intended design should look. recommended file formats for electronic data
