Robert Frost 42 Wallaby Way Sydney Australia B2R 6K9 Dear Mr. Frost, My name is Student A. Im fifteen years old and a fan of your writing! Today, I take pen to paper to write to you about your poem, The Road Not Taken. I enjoyed this poem immensely and am taken aback to how well you were able to weave the elements of confidence and choices into this piece. I must admit, I certainly related all too well to it. The way I chose to interpret it, your poem is not simply about choosing which path to take when going on a walk, but it is instead about choosing which path to take in life, and with so many decisions and uncertainty it can be a daunting task! Choices are part of out everyday life, yet we rarely take the time to look at them in a poetic manner, which is the reason I enjoy your poem so much, it helps us to see the wonder in the otherwise ordinary everyday tasks. I did however, have a few questions about it that I was hoping you could answer! First of all, what inspired you to write this poem? Im curious of your reasoning for it. Also, where did the road less taken lead you? Did you have a specific location in mind? Or is it a mental state? Lastly, I wanted to know if you had any advice to give for a young, aspiring poet such as myself, I would love to hear your suggestions! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter! I hope you have more poems coming and I look forward to hearing from you! Yours Sincerely,

Student A
