1 - This is a 36 channel mixing desk. It is used a device for mixing, routing and changing the level, timbre and dynamics of audio signals. 2 - A patch bay is used to route and re-route signals between the mixing desk and outboard equipment like fx units, compressors and EQs. 3 - Outboard equipment alter how a musical instrument sounds using things such as, fx units, compressors, EQs and preamps. 4 - An audio interface is the bridge between sound being recorded from the instrument to the computer. In studio A there are two which both have 8 inputs and outputs totaling 16 inputs and outputs which go into the mixing desk. 5 - A MIDI keyboard is a digital keyboard used for sending MIDI signals or commands to other devices connected and operating on the same MIDI protocol interface. 6 + 7 - 4 monitors for a wider range of sounds.
