The smell of sweat, shouts of victory, and the bright colors of cheer bows are what define me.

There is so much more to cheerleading than just girls in skirts and tops jumping around. What defines me overall is cheerleading. Like working hard to get a one-hundred in school, I must perfect that intense tumbling pass. Run, hit, hit, hit, screams Coach. I love being challenged with new pass combinations. The best thing about cheer, in my opinion, is learning a new routine. Both learning new objectives in school and learning a new routine require dedication and patience. Competitions create nerves and anxiety. After going on stage the crowd goes wild. I love the feeling of knowing that my team pleased someone. Our job is done. Lastly, to be a successful cheerleader you must be loud. Being loud is like communicating your thoughts clearly on classwork. Now like cheerleading, this portfolio is filled with challenging assignments that display my hard work during the year.
