    Synopsis for Technical Seminar Air Powered Cars

    Introduction:
    We know that our world is facing fuel crisis now . All kinds of conventional sources of fuel are on the verge of exhaustion. Gasoline which has been the main source of for the history of cars is becoming more and more expensive and impractical (specially from an environmental stand point).These factors are leading car manufacturer to develop cars fueled by alternative energies .Two hybrid cars took to the road in 2000 and in 3 or 4 years fuel cell powered cars will roll on to the worlds highways . Air powered car runs on compressed air instead of gasoline . This car is powered by a two cylinder compressed engine . This engine can run either on compressed air alone or act as an IC engine . Compressed air stored in glass or fiber tanks at a pressure of 4351 PSI.
