Hillberry’s life. Asa boy, he began developing his ‘own techniques of blending charcoal and graphite to achieve a realistic look in his drawings. Throughout his ‘career, he has tried to push the limits of realistic expression with these mediums, KD. has shown his work in some of the most prestigious invitational shows in the country, including the Artists of America show in Denver, Colorado, and the Great American Artists exhibition at the Cincinnati Museum Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He hhas taught a number of workshops and has conducted demonstrations at many ‘outdoor art fairs, including the nationally acclaimed Cherry Creek Arts Festi- val. Some of Hillberry’s drawings have been reproduced as limited edition prints that are sold in galleries and frame shops across the country. His work hhas been featured in national publications such as The Artist's Magazine, Revue and Western Horseman Magazine.
