For each reading assignment, do the following:

QUOTATIONS Find three significant quotations and copy them down. Cite them appropriately
with an intro clause (speaker) and MLA citation. Be sure to provide some
information about context in your intro clause (do not just say “Okonkwo says,”).

QUESTIONS Ask three questions about the reading: one factual, one inductive, and one analytical
(see mrsEbarvia.com for more information). Then answer the question or explain
why your question is important.

Post one of your questions to the class wiki online.

• Use an MLA heading.


• Use the assigned chapters (e.g. “TFA Chapters 1-4”) as your title.
• Divide your paper using the section headings above.
• Type your assignment and bring it to class with you each day.
