The last week I visited Chile with my British friends. We travel to a mining congress for 3 days to Santiago (Capital).

In this opportunity I tell you about Santiago. The place that we met and experiences. We arrived to Santiago at 8:00am and a guide of the congress carried us to Hyatt Hotel a big and beautiful Hotel located in Las Condes. When we were leaving our wallets in the room, the guide invited us to lunch. We went to Mercado Central, located in the centre of Santiago. I Ate the best fish of my life and a wonderful typical dish, called "curanto". Then we went to congress. At 8:00pm. we took part in a welcome party, the place was amazing, with a lot of nature, we were on a high hill, called Santa Luca. The Chilean people tell us that in this place had lived big tortoises until that arrived the Spanish. The next day, then of the congress we went to lunch to "La Piojera" a typical place located in Independencia. There were a lot of typical dish such as empanada, guatitas. Also there was the best drink of the world "Terremoto". We took a lot of "Terremotos", then we took the meter for came back the hotel, however never we arrived and we wake up in the Forestall park, nobody remember what happened that night. Despite this, the park was beautiful with special flowers and modern sculptures. We went quickly to the congress. Finally we went to the Museum of Art Pre-Columbian, located in Plaza de Armas. There were old sculptures about aboriginal cultures of Chile. We left Chile at 10:00p.m. I had been dreaming with this trip for two years and finally I did. Is really a wonderful country, with warm people, the Chileans have a special culture that everyone should know.
