Comentarios MacThizzle en 2012-10-07 03:47 CET: *TIPS* I found that you cannot start monitor mode... To do this you will need to switch users to "Tech", or cancel the log in and choose "Tech" from the get go... After doing so you will need to open a terminal, under accessories I believe, and enter the following without quotes "sudo airmon-ng start wlan0" That is assuming your interface is wlan0!! you can check your interface with the following, WITHOUT QUOTES!!! "ifconfig" once doing so open firefox and type, without quotes again "127.0.0.1" it will bring up reavers gui :) Now another problem I have faced is that when you go to scan wash seems to be needing the "-C" command, otherwise I myself have not been able to "scan" for networks! So leaving firefox open and terminal open from earlier I have just started wash myself! The command for wash is as follows, without quotes "wash -i mon0 -C" once doing so the reaver gui seems to be working! But as there is no WPA that is either not locked or vulnerable I have NOT been able to test further! HOPE I HELPED SOMEONE!!! Thanx for the UP demon.iatic :) :) MacThizzle en 2012-10-13 23:46 CET: I have seeded up to 2.054. No one else has commented! Had what I mentioned earlier work well for everyone, or is it to trying and you have given up? Please comment to let me know how you all are doing getting this to run, OR if you have anymore questions... leohippie en 2012-11-17 19:44 CET:

It works but it's better with back track, because you don't have the option to save the sessions, so once you started you have to wait a lot. With back track you can save the sessions and you don't need a wordlist. In you tube you have some tutorials, to the wep and wpa and wpa2, they work ok!!! Varkrath0 en 2012-11-24 02:01 CET: i can't figure out why the gui doesn't see my wifi. i'm using a cisco compact wireless g. the OS sees the wifi, just not the reaver gui.
