Chemicals Batch Description
A multiple volume selection switch allows to choose between different quantities. The switch is connected to the Batch Transmitter Type 8025. A Flow Sensor Type 8030 measures the flow of the solvent and gives a signal to the Batch Transmitter Type 8025 which controls two Ex Solenoid Valves Type 5282. The first is used for coarse feed and the second for fine feed. An Ex start/stop switch is located at the nozzle which can also start the filling process. The stop function can be used in case of emergency. If the quantity of solvent in the bulk storage is reduced to a defined minimum the Batch Transmitter gives an alarm signal. Additional advantages: The operators daily working hours are reduced from 8 to 2 hours which also includes the time spent in contact with the insanitary vapour. Danger of splashing is reduced. Dosage accuracy is considerably improved. Solvent is saved. Payback time is 4 months.
