    Obama’s triumph

    Has history been borne or begun

    Was it right for this to happen?

    I dreamt of it as an occurrence with the death of many generations

    But here it is before me that not only do I feel and see

    But rather I have become a part of history

    His story has a line to travel in all races

    Of which mine can be a part

    Has Africa a history or story to tell

    Far from expectation the unthinkable has occurred

    Life has now reiterated

    Visions are now realities

    What is to be gained by the mother of all resources from this great triumph?

    My story shall be heard
