The Greek Economy publication aims to provide the latest key economic information on Greece in a clear and comprehensive manner. Written in both the
greek and english languages, it is designed for users of statistics who seek updated information on recent economic developments, as well as long-term economic trends. It provides information on major economic indicators and time
series compiled mostly by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).

(1) From June 2010 onwards, securitized assets are no longer derecognised from the Balance Sheet of the Banks that have adopted the International Accounting Standards. These securitized assets are no longer subtracted from the Assets of the Balance Sheet. Correspondingly, on
the Liabilities side, securitization obligations are included in the category "deposits from the non-euro area non-MFIs".
(2) Credit to domestic non-MFI residents by domestic MFIs, including securitized loans and corporate bonds.
(3) Growth rates are calculated on the basis of the dierences of outstanding amounts adjusted for reclassications, revaluations, exchange rate
valuation dierences and other changes which do not arise from transactions.
