Outcome/Strategic Effectiveness: Approach:

Point of View: Researcher/consultant/what? We looked at various methodologies used by academics and applied to variety of BIs in the world. Specifically, we looked at the models for US/UK and Canada and researched into what has worked and what has not. **Comment on the effectiveness parameters **compare and contract from US/Canada perspective, use numbers from 1_ and 2_ documents. Use the numbers in the excel **offer analytics/advice **Form an opinion and give reference to researches from 2-3 research papers mentioned in the notes document. **talk about Canada emphasis on government which is in contrast to for-profit structure of US **Discuss Is there a link between large number of privately funded BIs in US and their success?

C.f. in Canada, about 56% of BIs are non-for-profit: is there a link between profit/non-profit and success/effectiveness? **Offer insight on governance, on geography compare ON with USs entpreneurship focused pockets. Next: RECOMMENDATION: Canada is different geography (obviously) thank US or UK. (Talk about Risk, structure, and incentives etc) and propose a solution. (REMEMBER none in the research have been able to come up with a concrete solution, so a strong recommendation may not be defendable )
