Here are some instructions to install AoFE yourself: Make sure to have Age of Empires II: The Conquerors

installed Download one of the files below (your preferred language) Unzip the contents of this folder into your Age of Empires II Installation folder (typically C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II\) Go to Age of Empires II/Age2_x1 and run "Fix.exe" (This is a silent fix, no window will open.) Run age2_x2.exe to play Download Links: English AoFE Chinese (Traditional) AoFE Chinese (Simplified) AoFE Spanish AoFE Italian AoFE (This download wasn't working before, it is fixed now.) Frequent Problems: Colors look bad on Windows 7/8: Run Fix.exe in your Age2_x1 subfolder. (This is a silent fix, no window will open.) When opening the game in single player, it asks me for a CD: Run SETUPREG.exe in your Age of Empires II folder. If you can't find it, you can download it here.
