*Guiding Question Objective: Today you will be able to Proving behavior: by

Students will use this introduction to World Religions to segue into our unit on the Crusades and thereafter the Middle Ages. Students must first understand the similarities between the world religions before they can begin to analyze the period of religious conflict that extends into the revolutionary age.

Step 1:
World Religions Would a hook beyond the Do Now be useful here? Students will be broken into pairs, given a packet on one of the five religions and will be told to complete the first portion of the TABA chart, the section that pertains to their belief. Students will then begin a random rotation, and will be required to complete the rest of their TABA chart. In order to do so, they will have to meet with a minimum of 2 other people to obtain the rest of the information. We will regroup at the end in order to discuss some of the important points of our TABA chart.

Students will take notes during a Hinduism/Buddhism powerpoint and will then complete a Hinduism/Buddhis Venn Diagram to accompany the chart. Will the students be assessed on this material? How can you make the presentation more interactive as you proceed through the similarities and m Presentation differences of the religions?
