Multimeter Test Procedure for Sepex Controllers; In order to find out the extent of possible damage inside a controller,

following table could be useful. A digital multimeter is required for testing the controller. Put the multimeter in diode test range and connect the probes as per following table. If the multimeter shows the reading in the range indicated in the table, then the power board of controller is O.K. If either of the armature or field power circuits are defective from the multimeter test then the power PCB repair cost is applicable. If both armature & field circuits are defective, then the controller is beyond economic repair. In case both these circuits are O.K. then check logic PCB on low power test.
