card in 4/4 time using appropriate rhythm syllables. Rhythmic values include whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, eighth notes, as well as quarter rests. Key: =correct (both syllables and clapping are accurate) X=incorrect (both syllables and clapping are incorrect) r/s= (close: syllables are incorrect, clapping was correct/ syllables are correct, clapping was incorrect)

13 students performed the rhythm accurately. 5 students performed the rhythm incorrectly. 2 students were close, performing with correct clapping, and incorrect syllables. I will continue to do more rhythm reading practice in class, and incorporate more games that allow for individual response to continue to assess student progress.
