Cullen McKinney: The Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association and Its Community Outreach An attorney, Cullen McKinney holds

membership with the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association (DMBA) as well as the State Bar of Michigan. He represents clients through Tanoury, Nauts, McKinney, and Garbarino, PLLC, for which he is a founding partner. A legal organization established more than a century and a half ago, the DMBA originally acted as a forum for lawyers and judges to discuss improvements in legal administration and local justice. Since its founding, the organization has continued to assist the legal sector of Southeast Michigan by supporting ethical and informed law practice. In addition to its commitment to the legal community, the DMBA partners with the DMBA Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing legal assistance to people in Detroit and educating the public on their rights under the law. The foundation carries out such initiatives as the Pro Bono Mentorship Program, the Detroit Legal Services Clinic, and the School Partnership Program.
