Grider SUBJECT: Proposal for New Place for Friday Meetings EFFECTIVE DATE: FRIDAY, MARCH 1, 2013 Since joining the firm, Ive observed a lack of effective communication during our Friday afternoon meetings and I suggest that the partners of CEA select a new location for our weekly conferences. This memo is a recommendation to change the firms current meeting place from Coasters and includes two alternative suggestions. Alternative Procedures for Friday Meetings 1. Hold all professional meetings prior/following lunch each Friday. 2. CEA partners vote on professional alternatives each week. Reasons for Selecting New Location I understand the importance of tradition to CEA, however Coasters is not an appropriate location for our weekly business meetings because Improper business environment Informal bar setting Provocative uniforms Inappropriate interaction between customers and employees
