AIMS OF THE COURSE:

To emphasize the strategic role of Operations Management in its effect on the performance of the company.

To provide an integrative perspective for viewing the Operations Management from an interdisciplinary perspective, giving students a better appreciation for how operations management relates throughout the whole business.

This course will help students understand the important decisions, methods, techniques and concepts within the production planning, such as process type selection, forecasting methods, long-term to short-term production planning techniques, etc.
