KADAI CHICKEN

Ingrediants: Chicken: 1/2kg with or without bones cut into medium sized pieces Onion: 2 big onions (cut them long) Tomato: 2 (small cubes) Chicken masala: 1 1/2 spoon Dhania powder: 1 1/2 spoon Turmeric powder: 1/4 spoon Garam masala: 1/2 spoon Ginger garlic paste: 1 1/2 spoon Salt to taste (I use more or less 1 1/2 spoon) Corriander leaves: to garnish Procedure: 1. Fry the chicken in oil. 2. First add 1/4th spoon of turmeric powder while the chicken is being fried. 3. Add 3/4th spoon of chicken masala, dhania powder and salt to the chicken. 4. Check whether the chicken is cooked inside. Once cooked, remove from oil and keep it aside. 5. Pour some oil onto a dry pan and add ginger garlic paste. 6. Add the sliced onions and fry them till they turn golden brown in colour. 7. Add the diced tomatoes and fry them for 3 minutes. 8. Add the fried chicken. 9. Add 3/4th spoon of chicken masala, dhania powder, salt and 1/2 spoon of garam masala. 10. Cook for 10 minutes in low flame. 11. Garnish with corriander leaves. Variation: You can marinate the chicken with the masala and curd and then fry it in oil. If you do so, close the vessel with lid while doing step 9. This will give you chicken curry.
