Abstrak : Background : Hypertension is a common disease that affects many citizens of Indonesia.

According to statistics of Panti Tresna Werdha (PTW) Budi Mulia 3 Ciracas, hypertensions ranked first as a disease that often affects some residents in PTW with or without another disease. Case : Mr.H, a 72-year-old-elderly, resident of PTW with hypertension accompanied by non-insulindependent diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis. Mr.H consumed Amlodipine for the hypertension treatment, Glibenclamid for diabetes mellitus treatment, and Vit.B to increase his immunity, and diet for the whole treatment. Discussion and Conclussion : There are many factors that cause hypertension in elderly such as stress, lifestyle, another diseases, and many more. Hypertension is known as the silent killer disease because some patients rarely feel the abnormality of their body. It can be detected by checking blood pressure regularly. Pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy is necessary to reduce the risk of complications and to increase the quality of life. This should be accompanied by control of diabetes mellitus and Rheumatoid Arthritis in order to create a good prognosis. PTW Budi Mulia 3 Ciracas should pay more attention to those patients by providing some medicines and giving some support to the patient in order to increase their motivation to have a better life.
