Jeffery Fasching is a priest and celebrant for Missouris Catholic Diocese of Springfield -Cape Girardeau. Rev. Fasching is the only priest in his diocese to offer mass both in Latin and in English on a regular basis. Father Jeff Fasching often visits patients in hospitals to lead them in prayer. The diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau recently announced that its 2013 Beginning Experience Weekend will be held April 10-12, 2013, at the Maranatha Retreat Center in Everton, Missouri. The Beginning Experience Weekend is a recovery retreat for individuals who are divorced, separated, or widowed. The diocese is encouraging its members and supporters to attend in order to make this event a huge success. Since 1956, the Catholic Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau has served 39 counties, 66 parishes, and more than 66,000 Catholics in southern Missouri. The diocese is comprised of individuals from a diverse culture and heritage who are bound together by faith and the desire to promote future growth.
