Chapter 3 TECHNICAL STUDY

This chapter describes the process by which seaweed crackers are manufactured. It involves the steps in the production process as well as the equipment needed, furniture and fixtures, and other resources necessary to carry out the manufacturing of the product. Considerations on location, building, floor plan, costs, capacity, scheduling and waste disposal are also presented as they may directly affect the efficiency of the operation as a whole.

A. Production Process The process of production will start from acquisition of raw materials up to storing the finished goods. First Step: Acquisition of the seaweed sheets as the direct materials which is to be delivered by a Korean supplier every morning of Fridays.
