Alter the Stock Journal

Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info. > Voucher Types > Alter > Stock Journal Set the option Use as a Manufacturing Journal to Yes

Go to Gateway of Tally > Inventory Vouchers > Alt +F7: Stock Journal 1. 2. Enter the Date as 5-4-2008. In Name of Product field select AquaPure 1Ltr from the List of Items.

Tally.ERP 9 automatically updates the components required to manufacture AquaPure 1Ltr as defined in BOM of finished goods under Components (Consumption) section. 3. 4. BOM Name: In this field the Bill of Material created for the item will be defaulted. In Quantity field enter 2,00,000 as the quantity manufactured.

Tally.ERP 9 automatically updates the Quantity, Rate and Amount of the components used in the manufacture of AquaPure 1Ltr. 5. Enter the Narration, if required.

By-Product/Co-Product or Scrap accounting in Manufacturing journal is provided in Tally.ERP 9 Release 3.0.
