Mop to delete unused E1 in ITC SDTB.

Introduction:
It is observed that unwanted alarms appear on un-used E1 on SDTB cards of ITC where no ATERS are defined. In BSC we can block the E1 in SDTB to clear these alarms but in ITC we need to delete these E1 if we are not using it. Steps to delete E1: 1. Note the E1 number starting from 9. 2. Login to transcoder and start MML terminal. 3. In MML terminal enter command SHOW SUNIT to view E1 config details.

4. Enter command DEL SUNIT to delete the PCM.

5. Sync modified tables to save.

6. Check whether related alarms have been cleared.

Steps to Create E1: 1. Note the E1 number starting from 9. 2. Login to transcoder and start MML terminal. 3. Enter command ADD SUNIT, enter port no as of port of other E1s on same SDTB.

4. Sync modified tables to save.
