We have modified our environment so radically that we must now modify ourselves to exist in this new environment. #Norbert Wiener The eco-friendly design of buildings is always remain a challenge to civil engineers. So, put your designing skills and make actual model of an eco-friendly building with innovative and creative touch. Everybody is free to design their buildings in their own way. Materials: 1. Only Bamboo material is allowed to use because of its eco-friendly nature. 2. Connections can be of three different materials: i) Threads. ii) Nails. iii) Glue 3. Besides bamboo no other material is accepted for construction of model. Rules: 1. A team may consist of three persons (at the most). 2. The structure should be self-stable, i.e. it should not be supported by external supports. 3. If it is discovered that your structure has been fabricated using any unfair means, your entry will be disqualified. The decision regarding the authenticity of your entry rests with the Managers of the event. Their decisions will be final and binding on all participants. 4. All the participants first need to register themselves for the competition. Testing: The testing will be done two rounds as follows: Round 1: The structure will be checked by the organizers for following aspects: i) ii) iii) iv) v) Innovation and design. Energy efficiency Sustainability Feasibility Aesthetics
