Hulme Is Where The Art Is (Thursday)

The theme of this project will be bees. We will be looking at making a large honeycomb hanging which will hang from the studio ceiling. The main aim of the project is to bring individual personalities and ideas together. Each person in the group will create a small cardboard hexagon which will be papier-mchd and decorated with various papers. Everyone will then print their own drawing of a bee onto their layered collaged background or a separate hexagon which would then be stuck on. A limited colour palette based on bees will be given so that everyones hexagons link together. Yellow, Black, Brown an orange. These colours are all representative of bees. Desired Outcomes Participants will: Bring together ideas and techniques Work together to create a final outcome Explore an experiment with different materials
