org FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music to Open Preschool MILWAUKEE, Feb. 25, 2013 -- The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music will open a 36-week music preschool this September. The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music Preschool seeks to provide a quality education for young children. The program will encourage students to experience, discover, analyze, symbolize, apply and create in a comfortable and supportive learning environment, said a spokesperson for the Conservatory. The program offers an educational experience based on the incorporation of music with early learning fundamentals. Students must be age 3 or 4 by Sept. 1 and must be toilet trained by Aug. 1. Enrolled children will be provided with instruction in singing and general music throughout the day. Specific classes include hand drumming and violin. Older students will also have the chance to take introductory piano lessons. Instructors are trained musicians with bachelors degrees and teaching certification in early childhood education. In addition to teaching music instructors will be providing lessons in early childhood fundamentals including patterns, problem solving, social skills and literacy. Classes will be offered every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:15 a.m. to noon. Tuition is $3,460 with a $40 non-refundable registration fee. In order to provide accessibility to the program the conservatory will offer three payment plans: one payment of $3,500, two payments of $1,750, or six payments one $600 payment and five additional payments of $580.
