At this luncheon, co-hosted by IPAC and PolicyNL, Professor of Economics Wade Locke and his colleagues Sco Lynch and Doug May of Memorial University of Newfoundland, will discuss their recently launched iniave: Collaborave Applied Research in Economics (CARE). Funded jointly by the Atlanc Canada Opportunies Agency, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, Husky Energy and Memorial University, CARE brings together applied research economists who are located in Newfoundland and Labrador or in the Marimes to promote applied economic research within the region with a view to promong a greater understanding of our economies and any associated wider social impacts.
