HOW TO MAKE A FRAME

BY: Misael Sepulveda

Set the Goal

I would like a frame or multiple frames to cover the emptiness of this wall. I decided to make multiple smaller frames of different shapes.

Examine Outside Influences

I would like something that gives that wall some color and that I can use to put some notes, a calendar and some pictures up as well.

Establish Criteria
The frames are not to look crappy or unprofessional. The frames should work as a bulletin board. They should also give a happy color to the wall.

Make the Plan

Supplies
Wood Strips Wood Glue Fabric Wire Brads Finishing Nails Cardboard boxes

Tools
Craft knife Hammer Ruler Measure Tape Scissors Hand Saw

Carry Out the Plan

Measure cut

Cut the ends off

Saturday morning

Put it up together 1st Glue 2nd Nail

Nail down the pieces together

Put the frame on tope of the cardboard. Outline. Cut it.

Nail down the cardboard on the frame.

Cut the needed fabric. Fold the sides of the fabric in.

Fold the sides in. Nail the fabric down.

Evaluate the Product

The frames gave the wall a happy color, they looked professional and could also be used as a bulletin board. It took me no more than a weekend to finish it and I only spent $ 14.46 on the supplies.
