Directions: You will select a partner and will work together to create a real life scenario that you are able to write as a linear function. Based on this function you will need to complete the graphic organizer. You will complete the steps as follows: 1. Using complete sentences write your word problem/scenario in the scenario/word problem box. (Example: The cost of a Play Station 3 is $250 and each game is $65.)

2. Visit the website http://www.pdesas.org/module/content/resources/20999/view.ashx to find the definitions for slope, y-intercept, and slope intercept form. Write the definitions in the appropriate boxes.

3. In the slope box: Below the definition, write what the slope is for your problem and what it represents. (Example: The slope is 65 which represents the cost of each video game purchased for the play station)

4. Y-intercept box: Below the definition, write what the y-intercept is for your problem and what it represents in your problem. (Example: The y-intercept is 250 which represents the cost of a Play Station 3.)

5. Slope-intercept box: Below the definition, write the function for your problem in slope-intercept form. (Example: y =65x+250)

6. Given a Table Box: Based on your scenario fill in the values for the outputs, given the inputs provided.
