Alexander Graham Bell Was born on March 3 1847 in Edinburgh, Scotland UK.

Alexander adapted the name Graham when he was 11. It was kept as his fathers friends memory. Alexander lost his two brothers died when he was young.

Alexander grew up and then he started work with the deaf, he used to teach the deaf sign language.

He than set a goal for his life. He wanted to build a thing which can be used to communicate with people even faster.

He started to research with his assistant Thomas Watson, they started building their telephone as their plan.

He than announced to a group of people that he had been successful in his research and he was going to try to talk over to Chicago between New York and it was successful on March 1876

He later married Mabel Hubbard on July 11,1887.

Later in his life he invented a lot of things like the Photo phone and Metal Detector.

He later died on August 2,1922.
