RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE DEER SPRINGS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AUTHORIZING THE COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY (CAL FIRE) FOR FIRE PROTECTION FOR FISCAL YEARS 2013-14 THROUGH 2017-2018

WHEREAS: By Resolution, this District has entered into a cooperative Agreement for fire protection services with California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL Fire) and

WHEREAS: The current cooperative agreement expires June 30, 2013,

BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the DEER SPRINGS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, that said Board hereby approve the attached five year Cooperative Agreement with the California Department of Forestry (CAL FIRE) for $22,453,125.00 dated July 1, 2013. This agreement provides fire protection services during the State fiscal year 2017-2018.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of June 2013 by the following vote of the Board of Directors of the Deer Springs Fire Protection District:
