Diversion weir, offtake structure, tunnel intake, tunnel outfall a) Diversion Weir Radial Gates a. It consist of 4 radial gates b. Its dimension is 6m wide x 5.5m high c. The maximum discharge is 300m3/s b) Klang River Offtake Gates a. When the stormwater exceeds the value of allowed for the downstream ,The Klang River Offtake is the door that open and the remaining is lead to that door. b. The gate consist of 8 numbers of roller gate. c. Its dimension is 6m wide x 3.5m wide. d. It consists of trash screen to filter all the trash and a baffle wall. e. The baffle wall acts as the wall that slows down the flow rate of the stormwater. f. When weather is fair with little or no rain falling, only one gate is open. c) Tunnel Intake a. The tunnel intake acts as the door to lead the water from the Holding Pond to the Desa Detention Pond. b. The gates of the tunnel intake is consists of 7 penstocks c. The intake diameter is 26m d) Tunnel outfall a. The tunnel Outfall is the door that leads to the Desa Detention Pond. Holding Pond at Kampung Berembang. The Holding Pond consist of Tunnel Intake, Baffle wall, and Sg. Klang offtake

The surface area of the holding pond is 10 hectares The storage capacity is 600 000 m3 Bypass tunnel - diameter 11.8m, 9.7km from Kg. Berembang, Ampang to Taman Desa. 3km double-deck motorway in the middle of tunnel. Storage Reservoir at Taman Desa. Twin Box Culvert Outlet Structure. a) Attenuation Pond (Downstream) a. The surface area is 22 hectares b. It can stores 1.4 million cubic metres of stornwater b) Twin Box Culvert a. Dimension = 5.5m x 4m b. Stoplog = 1 set c. It includes CCTV 'Ingress & Engress Connections' connecting the KL-Seremban Highway, Jalan Tun Razak and Jalan Sultan Ismail. SMART Control Centre equipped with SCADA System and Flood Detection System for Flood Discharge and Traffic.
