Dear Veteran, First, I would really like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the service

that you have committed to our country. It is men and women like you that gives us the freedoms that we all enjoy as citizens of this great country. All of the freedoms and rights that we enjoy today are a direct result of the dedication, courage and commitment that you have offered to our great country. I will never take these freedoms for granted because I have a father who once served in the 82nd Airborne division, and I am well appreciative for this. The pride and liberty that you have provided our country is what gives the American people a sense of condence in our national security and a sense of loyalty to those who protect it. As a high school student, it is very reassuring to know that our country is in a safe and prospering state; it is because of you that we enjoy this.
