RESEARCH INTEREST

Today, mechanical engineering denotes a broad field that has to do with the generation and transmission of mechanical energy. In the modern world where things are changing at a fast pace, it has become essential to develop better and efficient technologies. Material Science fascinates me a lot in this perspective. Research in nanotechnology is undergoing a paradigm shift. Nanotechnology can be used not only for traditional fossil fuel production but also for novel processes for renewable energy applications. Preparation and characterization of nanomaterials for sustainable energy production fascinates me and I have an inclination for it. I want to further research into its application as coolant and wish to apply concepts of heat transfer in nanofluids and nanomaterials for better heat transfer and efficiency improvement. Apart from nanotechnology, my interest also lies in soft matter and semiconductors. Here I would like to mention my keen interest in semiconductor nanostructures. Much of my interest emerges in the field of application of materials for renewable and alternative energy. .Along with aluminium and titanium alloys the composites can serve the aircraft defence applications as they not only decrease the weight but also reduce the cost. With the aim of being part of some of the world's finest research concerning nanomaterials and nanotechnoly, soft matter and condensed physics, my objective is to enhance and strengthen my knowledge base in material processing, fluid and thermal science.
