July 28th August 9th 2013 Putting the words and wisdom of our elders into actions

ISCDC 2013 is a 13-day intensive design course in sustainable living, topics will include, traditional agriculture, women in agriculture, organic methods, natural healing, seed saving, growing for seed, peramaculture methods & design, herbal remedies (making salves), midwifery for a sustainable community, water harvesting, land restoration, earth building, traditional diet & foods and alterntive energy. Students will learn how these and other disciplines need to be intergrated into a living system community. Students will work in a group designing a living susatainable system. This is a handson design course in indigenous traditional knowledge and wisdom. Location: Camino de Paz School/Farm, Santa Cruz, New Mexico (Approx. 25 miles north of Santa Fe). Camping is available on-site. We will provide a healthy locally prepared lunch each day. $600 $1500 Indigenous student. Limited scholarships for Indigenous students, call for availability. Non-indigenous student (limited space)
