Elizabeth M #709 A Dream Deeply Rooted I say to you my fellow students, that I have a dream.

It is a dream deeply rooted in Individual Responsibility. I have a dream that all adults in my community will obey traffic laws and drive more safely and more cautiously on the road especially in neighborhoods so they will not put the lives of children in peril. I have a dream that my community will rise together to preserve the environment by helping out and doing simple things to become green like recycling and planting trees in a local park while knowing that they are making a difference. I have a dream that my community will find ways to help the abandoned animals that are just looking for a little love, a meal, and shelter. I have a dream today. I have a dream that my community will remember good manners, courage, correct speed limits, and volunteering. I have a dream that I may be more courageous in taking risks and plan ahead for whatever is to come. I believe that my community will also be courageous in making a difference, in hopes of learning that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference. I have a dream that my community will rise up and start obeying speed limits correctly, and recycling a lot more or starting a go green club. A way that my community can help the abandoned animals is by donating time to the local animal rescue and volunteering. I have a dream today. This is my dream. My dream is that everyone, children and adults, will learn to volunteer more, to be more courageous, and start driving more safely. And to always be gracious to one another. So from our homes let courage ring! From our school let courage ring! From our community let courage ring! And when this happens my wonderful community will be one filled with volunteering, gratitude, more recycling, and most importantly courage. We will all be gracious to one another and full of courage for Abraham Lincoln once said, You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.
