    Injectors should be replaced without removing Rockers (short) inlet (long) exhaust. When an injector is to be removed or installed the rocker shaft should not be removed. On completion ensure pushrod ball end is located correctly in tappet cup, rocker adjuster located in pushrod cup, and valve bridge is located correctly over both valve tips.

    Injector Removal/Installation
    When

    an injector is to be removed or installed the rocker shaft should not be removed. Special tooling long reach T40 socket to be used
    (Part # 298-5564). CAUTION On completion ensure pushrod ball end is located correctly in tappet cup, rocker adjuster located in pushrod cup, and valve bridge is located correctly over both valve tips. TIP : Rotate engine two complete revolutions after setting valve lash to ensure engine is rotating correctly. Global Manpower Development
