Network+ Learning Activities

Week: 6 Submission Instructions: Please go through the exercises identified below and submit your learning activity to me via the blackboard. Rename the file by adding with your full name to the front of the file name and resubmit by attaching it to the blackboard system (i..e, JeremyPrince Learning Activity - Week 6.doc). This weeks in class assignment: Case Project 9-1 1. Read through and follow the instructions in Case Project 9-1 starting on Pg 439 of the textbook. 2. Answer the questions at the end of the steps.
They should recommend some type of NAT situation for the firm, because this would provide flexibility for all the firms staff, ease IP address management, and conserve IP addresses. The firms network drawing should include the router, switches, workgroup areas, plus at least one gateway that can accomplish NAT.

Case Project 9-2 1. Read through and follow the instructions in Case Project 9-2 starting on Pg 440 of the textbook. Answer the questions at the end of the steps.
SMTP and, at least, IMAP (if not also POP). For each protocol, firm should be able to identify the port number(s) used. Firm should add a mail server on the network diagram they created in Case Project 9-1.
