Sierra Nevada is the highest and the most spectacular chain of mountains on the territory of the U.S. King canyon offers a view of a unique splendor.Formed as the result of a glacial erosion,the depth of the canyon exceeds on some places 1.2 miles,being in some places even more deep than the Grand Canyon.The huge walls of rock are covered by amazing waterfalls,and the meadows and the forests around it have rivers and lakes like you only find in fairytales.Unfortunately the number of visitors is low because the park is only opened from June to October,in the rest of the year the roads are covered by snow making it impossible to pass.
